My name is Amy. I'm a wife and a mother of 6-year-old twins who keep me hoppin'. I began sewing as a small girl, helping my mother make clothes for my dolls and stuffed animals. For most of my life, sewing was just a useful, practical skill that came in handy when my clothes needed mending or I wanted to make some (cheap) new curtains. About 10 years ago I took a quilting class and made my first quilt...I've been hooked ever since. Now, sewing and quilting are a passion! I can't get enough!
When I'm not sitting in front of the sewing machine (or trying to keep up with the daily demands of family home and family), I'm usually reading, watching TV (guilty), perusing the local fabric/craft stores in search of ideas, or gawking at the latest crafty goodness I've found on the web.
It has been my dream for at least 10 years to own a fabric shop, ad thanks to the internet, I have been able to make that dream come true. With the help and support of my family, I'm fortunate to be surrounded by what inspires me most...beautiful fabrics!
